Buy a domain yourself (Tenten, Mat Bao, PA Vietnam, Nhan Hoa, GoDaddy…), then add 1 DNS record from the table below. It takes about 5 minutes; SSL (https) is issued automatically once the record takes effect.

Option 1 · Subdomain (app.yourdomain.vn)

Does not touch the website or email already running on yourdomain.vn. Add 1 record:

Change “app” to any word you like (congcu, ai, tool…); remember to enter the full domain correctly when registering the Custom domain edition.

Option 2 · Root domain (yourdomain.vn)

When the domain is not used for anything yet. Customers type yourdomain.vn directly. Add an A record and a CNAME www:

If yourdomain.vn already hosts another website, the old A record is replaced and that site stops working. If unsure, choose Option 1.

6 steps from start to finish

  1. Buy a domain. Ở bất kỳ nhà cung cấp nào; .vn, .com.vn, .com, .net đều dùng được. Bạn là chủ tên miền, DeepNiche không giữ hộ.
  2. Register the Custom domain edition. On the Become a reseller, choose the “Custom domain” edition and enter the exact domain (e.g. app.congcukenh.vn). Already a reseller: go to My reseller account › Custom domain.
  3. Open the DNS management page at your provider. Look for an item containing “DNS” (DNS management, DNS settings, DNS records).
  4. Add exactly the record from the table above. In the Name / Host field type only the first part (app or @), not the whole domain. In the Value field paste exactly cname.vercel-dns.com or 76.76.21.21. Leave TTL as default.
  5. Delete duplicate records. If there is already an A, CNAME, “URL Redirect” or “Parking” record with the same name (same app or @), delete or edit it; with a duplicate name the new record will not work.
  6. Wait and check. Usually 5–30 minutes, at most 24 hours. Check at dnschecker.org (enter the domain, choose CNAME or A). DeepNiche connects the domain to the server during business hours, within 12 hours; once done, opening your domain shows the store with your brand and an https padlock.

Examples on Tenten and Mat Bao

The illustrations are redrawn from the fields the providers ask for. Menu names may differ slightly when providers change their interface; just look for “DNS”.

Tenten (tenten.vn)

  1. Log in to tenten.vn with the account that bought the domain.
  2. Go to Domains (Domain management) and click your domain.
  3. Choose DNS management / Record settings › Add record.
  4. Fill in as in the illustration › Save.

Common mistakes

Typing the full app.yourdomain.vn into the Host field

The provider appends the suffix automatically, giving app.yourdomain.vn.yourdomain.vn. Type only app.

Nameservers moved to Cloudflare

Edit DNS at Cloudflare (not at Tenten or Mat Bao) and switch the orange cloud to grey (“DNS only”).

Newly bought domain whose DNS is not working yet

If a .vn domain’s owner has not been verified or the registration declaration has not been submitted, the provider will not activate DNS. Complete the domain paperwork first.

Still not working after 24 hours

Take a screenshot of the DNS page and send it to DeepNiche on Zalo 0337 519 236 with your domain so we can check.

While DNS propagates, your store keeps running

The store opens at www.deepniche.vn/dl/your-code/ as soon as the reseller plan is approved. Customers, wallet and orders are shared; once the domain is connected, customers go straight to your domain. To keep the custom domain running, keep the reseller wallet at 300,000 VND or more (10 days in a row below that pauses the custom domain; top up again and it resumes).
