RPM is the amount a channel takes home per 1,000 views, after YouTube keeps its share. For the same video, a US audience can bring in many times more than a Vietnamese audience. The table below shows the estimates DeepNiche uses in Channel Analysis and Monetization Check: the niche group’s RPM range at US-audience level, multiplied by each market’s factor.

These are estimated ranges for comparing markets, not an income guarantee. The real RPM of each channel depends on the ad season (highest in November–December), video length, Shorts ratio, and audience quality.

Shorts revenue is split from a shared pool, so RPM is usually only a small fraction of long-form. If your goal is ad revenue, use Shorts to pull viewers to long-form videos on the same topic.
Niches with high RPM usually have high competition. Use Multi-market dig from DeepNiche to see the same topic across 23 countries: an opportunity score combining open door, Niche Score, and RPM, plus each country’s seasonal calendar.
According to DeepNiche’s estimate table, a Vietnamese audience is worth about 25% of the US level: for example, the finance niche is about 2.0–3.8 USD / 1,000 views, and entertainment is much lower.
CPM is the price advertisers pay per 1,000 ad impressions. RPM is the amount a channel actually earns per 1,000 views (all views, including those without ads), after YouTube keeps its share. RPM is always lower than CPM.
According to the table, US, Australian, Swiss, and Norwegian audiences give the highest RPM. But competition there is also high — compare both Niche Score and the open door before choosing.
